  How do I edit the HTML of a theme? I have my website hosted on WordPress.com on the free plan. If I want to change the design slightly by editing the HTML, what do I need to do to do this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You cannot access and edit the underlying code for templates for any wordpress.COM theme so do be clear on that. Read http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions

  No. Customize allows you to edit fonts, colors, and CSS only. You can change the appearance of a theme, but not its HTML markup or PHP code. If you require this functionality, please consider moving your blog to a web host that supports theme code modifications.
