Why is my admin page only showing HTML?

When I try to log into the admin pages of my sites, all I get after waiting for minutes, is a page of HTML, no CSS, no JS. Hence, no new posting is possible.
I use Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera on Mac OS 10.6.8, on a Mac Pro Quad-Core Intel Xeon.
This has been going on now for about 60 hours.
This happens ONLY with my admin pages and NO other page whatsoever I have requested on the internet in these hours.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi there,
I’m very sorry to hear that you’re having this problem. Can your let me know if you’ve changed any settings on your computer that may have disabled Javascript or plugins? Do you have any antivirus or firewalls active on your computer?

Thanx for your interest. The answer is no, no, no, no, no to your questions. God forbid: I would never disable JS, let alone CSS; and since I am on a Mac I do not need antivirus. As stated in my original posting the prob affects ONLY the admin pages of my WP sites and nothing else on the internet I have requested in the past 70 hours or so. So the prob is related to wp.com only. BTW the same thing has happened at the beginning of this year 2011 for quite a few days.

Can you send us a screenshot of what you see? If you are able to try accessing your account from a different computer, i.e. a library or friend’s computer, do you still encounter this error?
Additionally, I see that you were able to publish a post today. Was this a scheduled post or were you able to access your admin pages?

Thanx for your interest, you gals/guys rock. This morning late (local time) the prob disappeared all by itself (I did not do anything to contribute) and I can access my admin pages again.
