html-changed font overrides text wrap?
-
How do I reinstate line wrapping in Bueno theme after changing font with html? I successfully changed a page’s text to Helvetica, but then each line of text runs clear out of sight unless there was already a hard return. I appreciate any help.

I’m using the free Bueno theme, no upgrades. I think I may have overridden some basic theme code when I changed fonts using html because now text doesn’t wrap at the end of the page’s text area. The trouble page is http://brazenwelcome.com/about/ Please tell me if you have trouble accessing it. Any thoughts are most appreciated!

You blog visibility is private and that means we Volunteers cannot view the blog and help you with it. You can either make the blog public (option 2 blocks search engines) or you can post the entire code you used between backticks in this forum thread so it will display here.
The backtick ` not to be confused with the single quote mark ‘ is located to the left of the number 1 key in lower case under the tilde ~ on your keyboard.

By enclosing it in pre tags.
In addition:
a) The span tags are used for characters, words or phrases inside a paragraph. For a complete paragraph you use p tags.
b) You get more minute control of font size if you specify a percentage instead of generic terms.
So, in all, the coding hould be:<p style="font-family:helvetica;font-size:120%;"> TEXT HERE </p>(Change the precentage to adjust the size.)
PS The above is the right coding for the text as it is now (line breaks but no paragraph breaks). If you add paragraph breaks, it should be like that:
<div style="font-family:helvetica;font-size:120%;"> TEXT HERE </div> -
Thank you, thank you justpi. It worked. I’ve been picking up bits and pieces of html over the years, but it’s much more fun when I know what I’m doing.
