html code appearing in my posts
-
Hi,
this code keeps keeps appearing inside my text – both when I don’t touch it and also while I am editing:
<span style=”font-size:13px;line-height:19px;”>I have looked at the “http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/layout-issues/” page and my box “wordpress should automatically correct invalid html code” is checked.
The bug is theme independent. Is there anything I can do about it?
Thank you!

Also it is impossible to introduce an empty line under some images. At the moment I am struggling with this text:

The second image is immune to all my attempts to have a sentence one line below it. :(
Could you suggest anything…?
Thank you!

Hi there,
I didn’t see any code, but just in case make sure you’re not copy/pasting anything directly from Microsoft products, as that can cause some major problems. We’ve got a help article on that:
As for putting extra lines in, if you hold down shift and press enter, you can put hard breaks in between items in most cases. If you’re still having problems, you can switch over to the Text editor and enter the following code:
<br />This will enter a hard line break.

THANK YOU! I am using Microsoft. This must be it.

oh no! This html code for break (that cannot get written down here) does not work again in my post. Could you check it out, please? It is soooo frustrating.

I am having problems with the sentence below the second image (a photo of a monster and a dog). It keeps appearing directly below the image.
Thank you!

Hi there,
I went ahead and added in that space.
In such cases, you have to add a space and a line break:
-
oh thank you. it does work! I tried both of them separately. :)
Is it possible that your visit caused the draft to get published? I woke up today to find that it is published – including FB, even though I had no intention of doing so. I deleted it from FB and luckily only my friends follow me by mail but now I am apprehensive it could happen in the future… And am wary of using the draft mode.
Also I am not sure whether deleting it from my FB page means that it is deleted from my fans’ pages? Could you please placate my worries and say it does?
Thank you for your help.

Hi there,
It is entirely possible that while I was updating the code for you, I hit Publish instead of Save Draft (which is what I meant to hit). If I did, then please accept my apologies! I am so very very sorry. We do not ever publish the drafts of our customers, and I would never have done so on purpose!
Again, if I published your article for you before you intended to, my deepest apologies.

Excellent. I’m glad to hear it! And yes, you can trust the dashboard!
