HTML Code in the TEXT Widget

  In the widget called TEXT we are supposed to be able to add HTML code, but my is not working – I want to add FEEDJIT HTML code and the HTML code for a PAYPAY Donate button yet all I see is the regular HTML code and not what should be showing – any ideas on this?
