HTML CODE OF PAY PAL BUTTON DON´T WORK

    Hi, I´m trying to add a PAY PAL button in my blog http://cloequieresermama.wordpress.com in order to sell books. ( I´ve a business PAY PAL acount to do it)
    I follow all the steps , but after “paste” de HTML code (I also can see the button published if I go to the “visual”) , when I click “SAVE CHANGES”, then it doesn´t appear, only i can see it´s a little white picture, but not the pay pal button.

    Can you help me?? I really don´t know why doesn´t works or why it´s not allowed it

    Are you referring to books that you are the author of? I’m asking because those are the only books you can sell on a free hosted WordPress.com blog.

    Amazon stores are not allowed. The only exceptions to the affiliate links policy are found here in italics:

    Affiliate marketing blogs: Blogs with the primary purpose of driving traffic to affiliate programs and get-rich-quick schemes (“Make six figures from home!!”, “20 easy steps to top profits!!”, etc). This includes multi-level marketing (MLM) blogs and pyramid schemes. To be clear, people writing their own original book, movie or game reviews and linking them to Amazon, or people linking to their own products on Etsy do NOT fall into this category.     P.S. Although I said “Amazon stores” above I want you to know that applies to all online stores. Free hosted WordPress.com blogs cannot be equipped for ecommerce transactions.

    Hi timethief!
    We have published this book. We´re an editorial company and we use wordpress and these blog for promoted the book and trying to sell it via “pay pal”. We don´t have yet any online store, so that´s the reason why I´m so interesting to add the Pay Pal button.

    So, If I understood right, If I put away the amazon link, It would work the button??

    Our free hosted WordPress>COM blogs cannot be equipped for ecommerce.
    WordPress> ORG installs can be equipped for ecommerce.

    If this is a book you wrote, then you can use the plain html paypal button on your blog. Follow the instructions closely.

    Yes, a PayPal Buy button for your own work is fully supported: http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

    If you require e-commerce/shopping cart functionality beyond this, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on e-commerce if you set up a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.
