jordan1951,
It would be most helpful to provide a link to your blog ( http:// ); if you have a question then it’s often necessary to see what you are asking about! Most of us in this forum are just your fellow bloggers and volunteers. Check this out:
-
Also, to publish code in this forum, use backtick, code, backtick.
The lower case key of tilde (~) next to the “1”
See the note under the forum comment block. -

ok failed attempt at picture. lemme se if this works. if it doesnt work i will give up and wait for help.
<a href="http://dragcave.net/view/o2Kb"><img src="http://dragcave.net/image/o2Kb.gif" style="border-width: 0" alt="Adopt one today!"/></a> -
that didn’t work either. :( hmm I started my blog out just to spread word about my current book but this was something i wanted to try oh well.
-
I see it just fine when I put http://dragcave.net/image/o2Kb.gif into my browser. Is ALL the code showing? If memory serves, there’s some javascript aspect to this that would get stripped out.
-
it looks the exact same it is supposed to show the egg image where the code is at. I just wanted to know if it is possible to put the egg image correctly in my blog posts.
P.S. when i put the code in on other forums it shows the egg and you click it to go to the aforementioned link. -
That’s right: if you look at the “Allowed markup” listed below the posting box here, you’ll see that it’s quite limited. That’s to keep the technical support forums very clean.
And yes, that HTML code will work in blog posts. Of course, you have to put it in the HTML editor, not the Visual editor.

o ok thank you. i have been trying to figure that out. duh thats so obvious i feel stupid.
