HTML code vanishing
-
Hi, I am trying to add an HTML to let the posts of my scientific blog be indexed on Google Scholar (i.e., meta name) but every time that I add it and update the page it vanishes… Why is that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The code is being stripped out because you are most likely adding code that is not allowed on WordPress.com.
But there is also no need to add any HTML code to your site to have it indexed by search engines. The moment you made your site public, search engines started indexing it, and every time you publish a new post on your site, we ping Google, Bing, and the other major search engines to let them know there’s new content on the site that has to be indexed.
As you can see from the page at https://www.google.co.za/search?q=site%3Ahttps%3A%2F%2Fcorporatesocialresponsibilityblog.com%2F, your site is already indexed by Google.
You can find more information on this here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/
If you’re trying to verify your site with Google Search console, you can find the correct process to do that for WordPress.com here, but note this is not in any way required for your site to be indexed:

Also note that your plan gives you access to both live chat and direct email support. You can reach those at any time by clicking the Help icon that appears bottom-right on all the My Sites pages, or else via the direct link at https://wordpress.com/help/contact
