HTML Code wont work for user assigned as "Author"

I run a music blog that feature a number of different writers. As we expand I am forced to include writers I dont know personally on my site. I wish to assign them as “authors” with limited restrictions, but we currently use a media player based off hulkshare.com that looks like this:

However, if a user labeled as an author attempts to use that code, nothing will show up. Only uses labeled as administrators can utilize that code. Is there anyway to get it to work for users that I want to restrict other access to?

Direct use of javascript, flash **, iframes and forms are not allowed here at wordpress.COM for security reasons.

** With flash, most times it can be used here using the gigya shortcode. Panos covers the gigya shortcode quite well in this post.

If you are talking about a self-hosted wordpress blog on a third-party hosting service such as godaddy, bluehost, etc., then you are in the wrong forum and need to be over at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ .
