it is a form. Read the thread.

  • Unknown's avatar

sooo…..how do i make it work on the site?

  • Unknown's avatar

    Forms won’t work.
Basically, dynamic code is stripped away for security reasons.
You have to find another solution, such as RSS, mailinglists, the wordpress.com “contact me” form or something like that.

Has anyone found a way to embed a calendar such as Google Calendar in their blog? I tried to throw the following html code in with no luck. Is iframe some kinda of script that just doesn’t work, like java, here on WordPress?

    <iframe src=”http://www.google.com/calendar/embed?height=600&wkst=1&bgcolor=%23FFFFFF&src=66sgine8104uq5vhrf09a7q4qk%40group.calendar.google.com&color=%23B1365F&ctz=America%2FNew_York” style=” border-width:0 ” width=”800″ height=”600″ frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no”></iframe>

The properties come up with my sign up info. http://jersey76.wordpress.com along with a continuance of more address info on that link. I would like to be have the title as the target link to my blog.
when I search for my blog I want to use portable ebook reader.wordpress.com Could you give me a quick fix. I really have serached many places for answers but did not find exactly what I wanted.
THis thread was very helpful. Is it safe to assume tracking codes from on my affiliate links from AMAzon will also be filtered?

    @ jersey
If you want your blog to be portableebookreader.wordpress.com, you need to create a blog called portableebookreader.wordpres.com. You can sign up for another blog form your dashboard. As it is now the URL of your blog will always be jersey76.wordpress.com. However, you can buy the Domain Upgrade and map your jersey76.wordpress.com to, say, portableebookreader.com (if that domain is available). There’s no way to “fix” jersey76.wordpress.com into becoming portableebookreader.wordpress.com.

Thanks for the quick response. Not being familiar with blogs I didn’t know what to expect after following directions. I did see the blog name somewhere in the link but I supppose for seo purposes it will be necessary to begin all over with a new blog. That was my original plan. Another woman in WordPress had a problem and after a few posts she said I fixed the problem “I deleted all my blogs”

Hi there – I’m wondering about changing the font size inside a wordpress page or post. The only options I seem to have are for the headings … no font options anywhere on the page. Any help? Can I input code, or is there something I’m missing?

  • Unknown's avatar

That’s a different question but the FAQ is your friend! Look at this http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/06/12/can-i-change-my-font-font-size/

pls am also facing some problems on how to add google adsense to my account, pls help me out

  • Unknown's avatar

    No ads allowed here

  • Unknown's avatar

    hi,

sorry to repeat the question – but as chris4gold mentioned, i want to put google adsense on my page…

any help on this one? what do you mean ‘no ads’ allowed here? It’s not an ad, its a “search engine” toolbar that will allow my readers to search on other sites about the topics from my blog..

    is this not allowed still?

  • Unknown's avatar

Google Adsense is paid advertising. Advertising is not allowed here.

If you mean a regular Google search box, it’s a form of coding that is not allowed here for security reasons.
