HTML dl tag lists display without formatting
-
To my surprise pasting FF boomarks folders into a page on my site (WP Admin editor) creates hierarchical link lists in the visual editor. In the HTML editor I found that the lists created are < dl > tag lists, using dl, dt, and dd tags. Bookmarks appear indented from the folder titles, which creates nice orderly lists in the editor. However, when saved and viewed on the public page the formatting is gone. The titles and bookmarks all display left-aligned, single-spaced, and without formatting.
The HTML Tags section of the Code support page indicates dl, dt, and dd tags are among the tags supported on WordPress.com sites. So why is the formatting not honored in my tests?

Heyo, your theme removes indentation for Definition Lists… it was a more common style back when that theme was made. Newer themes are showing it the lists indenting properly.
Cheers :)
