HTML Editing and Domain name

  Hello!

  I want to edit my html without purchasing the 30 dollar theme package thing…

  If I buy my domain name will I automatically be able to edit it?

  If I buy it on godaddy.com can i still use the wordpress interface somehow?

  1) no html here – Themes are in PHP and no you can’t edit it – maybe if you buy a VIP hosting package starting at $ 20,000 a year they might let you do a small amount.

  3) If you HOST on Godaddy you can edit and crash your code as much as you want – the interface in the Dashboard will look almost exactly the same but you will be on Godaddy and not on WordPress.COM

  I guess since its in “PHP” I wont be able to transfer my exiting site on wordpress over to Godaddy?

  One more thing— when registering the domain through wordpress, they let you choose not to give your information for the site registration thing to avoid spam and so on for 8 bux… It doesn’t look like there is that option in Godaddy?

  If you want to transfer your content from a WordPress.COM site – just export if from here and import it to your WordPress.ORG install on Godaddy –

  I don’t know much about Godaddy but I would be amazed if they did not have a keep your information private option.
