  i want to verify my site with google webmaster.

  From my reading, it looks like WordPress will automatically index your site within Google in the next 4-6ish weeks.

  But to help this process along, go here:
  https://foodsforthoughtsite.wordpress.com/wp-admin/tools.php

  If you scroll down, you’ll see a line for Google Webmaster Tools. You’ll need to enter that long meta information it’s asking for, and you can get that by signing in with your Google account here:
  https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/

  Once you’re signed in, add your site’s address (foodsforthoughtsite.wordpress.com)

  Follow the link to verify your site. If you click on the Alternate Methods, you’ll see an option for HTML Tag. Click on that to reveal that long Meta String that WordPress is asking you for.

  Copy and paste it into the WordPress Tools area, then click on Save Changes.
