HTML Elements in menu for Dyad-2
-
Hi
From the demo it looks like i can add HTML for a link from the main menu. The demo shows ‘HTML Elements’ in the menu.
I would like to add a button here – is that possible. I have used the HTML code to add a button to a widget – but can’t find a way to get this onto the main menu? If not can I just have a ‘book online’ menu link that just takes people to a URL to book?
Many thanks

Hi,
The menu item “HTML Elements” in the Dyad 2 demo links to a static page of that title that provides examples of effects you may produce in a post or page with HTML elements such as H tags, lists, preformatted text, tables, etc. See the Beginning HTML and Advanced HTML support pages.
I don’t think it’s possible to add a button to the main menu of the Dyad 2 theme on a WordPress.com site. The social links menu, in the footer area of Dyad 2 may display buttons. Adding buttons to a custom menu is probably possible on self-hosted WordPress.org sites.

Hi there,
You can do that by adding a custom link to your menu:
If the site is on a Premium or Business plan, you could use custom CSS to style that menu item so that it looks more like a button.

Matt,
You’re welcome. I’d missed the “book online” question in your OP. Thanks for catching that, @garysixtyeight. : )
