html error in comments-title display
-
Hi,
I have been looking for a few days in all the settings, but I cannot find this. I recently changed the theme to capoverso and the title of my comments block now contains an html ugliness: it now displays as
Un gând despre &8222;insectenhotel&8221; (where the &8222; and &8221; should be ” ”). I cannot remember ever setting up this box myself, it must be coming from the translation of standard headings. I have tried changing heading fonts, that didn’t do the trick. There seems to be no way to hide the heading altogether either. Does anyone know where this can be fixed? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi gimminy,
recently changed the theme to capoverso and the title of my comments block now contains an html ugliness: it now displays as
Un gând despre &8222;insectenhotel&8221;Can you send a link to the post or page where you are seeing these characters on pesterasoarelui.wordpress.com? I’m only seeing
Lasă un răspunsas the title for the comments area at the moment.Once I know where you are seeing it, I can take a closer look.

Hi gemmacevans, thank you! It is the one you see when there already is a comment for the respective post, like here: https://pesterasoarelui.wordpress.com/2019/04/22/insectenhotel/#comments

HI there,
It looks like the problem is with the Romanian translation of this theme. Whoever added the translation for that theme replaced the code for special characters in that line of text with the
&8221;instead, which doesn’t do anything.I’ve updated that translation to use the correct code, and as soon as it gets deployed on your theme it should update on your site. That should be within the next 48 hours or so.
