HTML file to header

For me to claim ownership of my website and for it be end up in search engines.. Search Console is telling me i need to use a HTML code that’s provided, and copy the link into my ‘header’ on wordpress..
I have a free domain so i am not sure if i am able to do this without a plugin?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot add anything to the <header> and do not need to.
