HTML files to copy on CD/DVD

  • Unknown's avatar

I created a WP website/blog for my thesis project and need to put it on a CD/DVD.

I tried the Export feature in the dashboard, but my professor says that I need the HTML files for the CD/DVD.

Is there a way to do this? All I’ve found is how to do it with wordpress.org.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I did a Google search, “xml to html converter online” to bring up some information. But because it’s not anything I’ve ever done, I cannot attest to the effectiveness of any of the options.

Would a save web page work?

    Ctrl-s on my Windows PC

That does save a copy of the web page including pictures to disk

But don’t you have to be online to read those? Why not just use links to each page? It’s not something I’ve fooled around with so I could well be missing something…

    Nevermind. Just tried it.

auxclass, that does seem to work. Thank you! I feel pretty stupid now because it’s so simple. =)

1tess, I’m not certain, but my guess is so that there’s a record of the site at the time that the thesis was written and if the site gets taken down, it’ll always be on the CDDVD.

Thank you both for your help!
