HTML help….?

  • Unknown's avatar

I have an idea to list the other sites that affiliate with me. Well, I’ve got the affiliates added to a widget on my blog (currently) but I want to create a separate page with just my affiliates on it. I know how to create a new page on my blog. How do I let it add the html code for each affiliate button/link onto the page?

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    Hi.

I am just writing you to let you know that I will be escalating this thread to the staff.

  • Hi there,

It is possible to copy the HTML that is in your widget, and paste it into an HTML block on any page or blog post. That would be the easiest way to have that content on a page.

I should point out however that the images shown in your widget are teensy tiny thumbnail graphics, and they will not show larger than they already are. From that standpoint it will look awkward to have the widget contents on a page unless you find larger images for each of the thumbnails.

If I can be honest it would be a non-trivial amount of work to convert the widget HTML into something that would look good on a full page layout, and that is something that staff cannot help with as we are not able to provide assistance with editing HTML. Hope this helps!
