HTML Help with Aweber form
-
Hello,
I imported html code from Aweber and the fields do not appear for people to enter their name and email address. The exact same code works on Blogger and two other web sites. Any clue?
-
It would have been helpful if you had posted the code, but my guess is that they contain the word “script” or “iframe” or “embed”, correct? If so, sorry can’t do on wordpress.com.

That’s unfortunate :(
Can you please tell me then how I can take my domain name that I purchased thru WordPress and “deactivate it” so I can use it somewhere else? Thank you I really appreciate your help thus far and your quick responses. -
Contact support. And I think it is required that you wait 60 days after buying the name to transfer it to another host.
-
Yes, it is, but it’s relatively seamless to transfer it once those 60 days are up. You don’t need to deactivate it at all; just build the other site and when you’re ready, switch the nameservers.
You MIGHT find it worthwhile staying here and just linking to an external web page where you’ve got the form. Maybe GooglePages will do it?
-
The form is automatically generated text from an autoresponder….
I did however, see someone else use forms on one of their blogs
http://www.entrepreneurs-journey.com/ (look in the middle of the page, right hand column)
so it is possible.
-
That’s not a wordpress.com hosted blog. See the sticky at the top of the forums for the differences between wp.com and wp.org.
