HTML in Text Widget

  I am trying to add some java to the text widget for my sidebar. For some reason it keeps shortening and ommiting part of the html which destroys the link.

  What am I doing wrong?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  How do I put affiliate ad’s on my blog without the use of java? Do I need a different type of blog?

  Yes.
  You must find a host (and pay for hosting), you must have a domain name, and you must have software to make the site visible online.

  WordPress.ORG has free software. The name and hosting will cost you money, but you will be able to use java, adverts, affilates, and whatever else your host allows.

  WordPress.org is different from wordpress.com.
