HTML in top menu?
-
Hi,
I have HTML for a Paypal button that I’d like to put in the top menu (there’s currently just a link to donate). Is there any way I can do this? I’m using the designfolio theme.
Thanks,

Hi Maria
When you say you have the HTML code for a PayPal button, is that the code you get from PayPal?
The directions for inserting a Paypal button are found here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
I recommend you read through it a few times. It is not difficultbest,

Hi Dave,
Yes, it’s the code I have from PayPal.
The issue is that your directions are to insert the button in a page or post. I was hoping that I could get my button at the very top of my page where my top menu is, but I only seem to have the option to put a custom link in the menu, not any code.

Ok i see what you are trying to do. I tried in my test site and was unable to add HTML to the header either. I believe it is possible to insert the button using CSS but that is beyond my capabilities at this time. I added some tags to get the right peoples attention. Please be patient, someone should be along in a while.
best,

Thanks Dave,
I should also note (to whoever comes along) that my PayPal button code is customized (thanks to PayPal tech support!), so I only have the website code and not the E-mail code as the WordPress directions specify using. Not sure if that matters when it comes down to CSS though.

Hi @, I’m going to close this thread since it is a duplicate of sorts and we are discussing it here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/css-for-top-menu-button?replies=10#post-2933634.
