HTML link– How do I add it to a page on my blog

I want to add an Amazon affiliate link to a page on my blog. It’s a link to a book that I just released. It’s in HTML and I have no idea how to take the HTML and get it to show the link and have it work. Any ideas?? I’d need step by step instructions since I’m not very computer literate. Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Please read http://en.support.wordpress.com/affiliate-links/

    1. WordPress.com allows bloggers to insert text affiliate links within post and page content to most third-party affiliate programs, provided they are not the primary content of the site in question.

    2. Image affiliate links in posts and pages and any banners, affiliate links in sidebar or footer widget areas, are still considered to be advertising and are not allowed on WordPress.com blogs.

Thanks for responding. The link you supplied says that image links are OK. But I’ll look into just using a text link. Either way I haven’t been able to figure out how to do it. I’m using the image and text widgets with the link and HTML that Amazon provides but can’t get it quite right yet. Any suggestions? Thanks again.

You can use text affiliate links only.
