html links disappear in gravatar widget

  I put some html links into my gravatar text and they appeared fine. Next time I went to the page the links had gone and I redid everything but no luck. I cannot get the links back.

  Are you reffering to your Gravatar account on this site > http://gravatar.com
  I have no trouble adding my links to my own blogs there. I click “edit profile” and then click “my links” and add the links and then click “add” and they appear.

  Hmmm I just looked hard at tht tile here and you mean the gravatar widget > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/gravatar-widget/
  I also think you are referring to this:

  Enter the text (HTML allowed) that you want to display with your Gravatar.

  Please post the code you have used there so we can examine it and see if we can help you. Please either provide a direct link to the code or post the code here between backticks. The backtick is found on the key to the immediate left of the number 1 key. It’s in lower case ` on the same key as the tilde ~ which is in upper case.

  I think I have sorted it (thebookwriters.wordpress.com). I refer to the gravatar widget.

  The html links now appear – some blue, some purple.

  Funnily enough, they appear on my iMac and iPad, but not my laptop. Might be more to do with laptop than wordpress.

  And I cannot see anywhere how to put subscribe buttons (not follow this blog) that capture email address or reblog or follow buttons that are supposed to appear at the top.
