HTML links to categories pages in the menu.

  I’m new to the forums, so sorry if I’m not good at explaining the problem.

  I am using html links in the titles of my pages to send the user to specific category feeds instead. This is working beautifully but has some weird side effects.
  If you look in the “Student Writing” drop down menu, using this method has given each link within the sub menu a second, empty link above it. In the html code for the page there is one link with the title of the page in it and a second link that does not.
  I have no idea why this is happening, but it’s annoying!

  That’s because the link-as-title workaround doesn’t work well in all themes. But you don’t need that workaround anymore – you can create and load a custom top menu:
