HTML plain text intro in 'New Post' emails in Microsoft Outlook

    I manage 3 public blogs for the CSIRO: csironewsblog.com, csirosolarblog.com and csirofrvblog.com.

    Since the 10th August the ‘New Post’ emails have had plain text intros that look more like superfluous html code, such as:

    Huw Morgan posted: “[caption id="attachment_4186" align="alignnone" width="421"] Common name: Rigid Boxfish. Scientific name: Caprichthys gymnura. Family: Ostraciidae.[/caption] Rigid Boxfish: I saw this picture in our scienceimage files and it just cracked me up. Looks l”

    This seems to be an issue with the Microsoft Outlook client and please note we have not had this issue before. Ideas?
