html star icon not showing properly on my screen

  The site linked to your name is private, so we can’t actually look at what you are talking about. I put those codes on my test blog on Vigilance and they display fine. I don’t have access to any Windows machines… That could be the problem?

  Nah, when I changed to visual editor and then referred back to html (this is before saving anything), the code you mentioned reverts to the squares, I’ve previously described, while the rest of the code remains unchanged!

  As I mentioned before, I can see the icons fine on my work PC (which uses the same operating system). Besides, even if you looked at my blog, everything would probably look okay (as proven by the icons I posted earlier).
