html tumblr embed in a blog post

  Opens New Post > clicks HTML format > Pastes the following embed code from Tumblr:

  > Posts it … then it turns into a link of this:

  https://www.tumblr.com/hairflips/116326802735

  instead of the pretty embed that Tumblr offers. I got Instagram posts to embed but I’m having an issue with trying to embed my Tumblr Blog posts.

  It’s supposed to look like this : http://hairflips.tumblr.com/post/116326802735/dorian-reeves-photos-greg-vaughan-hair-gerald/embed

  Any assistance would be appreciated.

  The code you are getting from tumbler includes JavaScript. User added JavaScript gets stripped from WordPress.com which is why you are having trouble.

  Add Code to Your Site

  We have code to support embeds from several other sites including Facebook and Twitter, but Tumblr isn’t currently on the list.
