HTML view page source

In regard to the HTML “view page source” on the home page of my Chronicle WordPress blog: http://MartinJRyansAmerica.Com
I’m comparing it to the HTML of my book’s website, which has under the <title>
at <meta name>= “description” CONTENT= I have entered quite a few tags to describe it.
Plus, at <meta name>=”keywords” CONTENT= I have entered as many, or more, keywords.
I would like to do the same with my WordPress blog to provide something for search engines to latch onto. May I do this? And how?
I notice when I review the view page source at my blog, I can click on it, but of course cannot enter anything.
    As usual, thanks.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • No, a site on WordPress.com will not let you add META tags, or add HTML whatsoever.

The good news is that search engines don’t really pay attention to META keywords anymore nowadays!

If not meta tags–how do they stumble on a blog, then?
