html visible

I’m using the Benevolence theme. The following is visible after the Leave a comment line:
Line and paragraph breaks automatic, e-mail address never displayed, HTML allowed: <abbr title=””> <acronym title=””> <b>
<cite>
<del datetime=""> <i> <q cite=""> <strike>Is there a way to hide that or is there a problem with the theme?

If you’re talking about the site linked to your name, that’s not a WordPress.com blog and we won’t be able to help with that; you’d need to be over at WordPress.ORG for help on that, in accordance with this thread:

I found a blog associated with your name but it’s not using the Benevolence theme. I found this blog http://bjsmith.wordpress.com/

I’m sorry, I was talking about http://iowanice.wordpress.com/
That one uses Benevolence.

OK, those instructions are to let commenters know what html coding is allowed in their comments. There is no problem with the theme. If you don’t want it there, you’ll have to change themes as it appears that data is in the underlying files that we do not have access to. (I can’t seem to hide it with CSS.)
