  Hi! I am trying to add an HTML code for a message box using the Text/HTML Widget and the script appears to be a text.

  I searched on how to do the message box using the plugins however I’m just using the FREE that’s why I’m pushing through using the HTML script.

  Please do help me on this matter.

  Plugins are not allowed on WordPress.com even on Premium or Business plans. Most popular plugin functionality is automatically on WordPress.com.

  You can add html code but you some tags mentioned in this support guide are not allowed due to security reasons: https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

  Make sure your html doesn’t include any restricted tags mentioned in the above support guide.
