I only see the vote buttons only on your latest posts. Please note that for those buttons to appear in all your posts, you have to manually add the Vote block in each one of them.

You answered my next question before I asked, thank you! Now another question: is it possible to specify ‘ratings’ for multiple items ‘within’ a posting.? Much appreciate your help.
-
Hello there,
Glad to hear that was useful.
is it possible to specify ‘ratings’ for multiple items ‘within’ a posting.? Much appreciate your help.
That’s not possible.
Are you looking to create polls inside of a post?
Many thanks.
-
Yes I
m working on a post listing items that it Id like to allow ratings, not the thumb icon but numerical ratings. Sounds like that`s not an option though. -
Correct, there is not a way to rate individual (and/or multiple items) within a post. It is only possible to allow ratings for the entire post itself. See: https://wordpress.com/support/ratings/
-
Btw, I just learned that website visitors have to ‘sign in’. Is that still required with a subscription or other than the basic free website?
-
Visitors only need to sign in if your website is set to Private – this is independent of whether or not you have a free or paid site. You can read about the different options here:
https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/
If your site is public and you’re seeing a prompt to log in, please take a screenshot of this so we can better advise. If you’re not familiar on how to take a screenshot, this support document will help explain how to make one:
Then, use a service like Snipboard.io to upload the screenshot and then share the image link from that service here and we’ll take a closer look.
Thanks!

Nope no ‘privacy’ listed under ‘my site’ & ‘settings’? Your directions are the same as described in ‘help’, but ‘privacy’ is just not listed there??
-
Unable to locate ‘any’ place to change form ‘privacy’ to ‘public’ although I really thought when I created my website i set it to ‘public’ 10 YEARS AGO!!!
-
I really wish I had a nickel for all the advisors who say; ‘do this and do that’…and after carefully following the instructions, the result is absolutely not what is said!!??
-
Your site is public so anyone can view it and leave a comment without needing to have a WordPress.com account. If they want to like a post, though, they need to log in to their WordPress.com account.

Wow I’m getting more and more angry and frustrated with wordpress now! The changes they’ve made are driving me crazy; these so-called ‘blocks’ are just that; blocking my every effort to edit and/or add to posts!!! Not to mention when I try to view ‘all posts’ I get some stupid looking page that DOES NOT LIST MY POSTS FOR EDITING!!! This is getting to the point where I don’t want to have anything to do with wordpress shortly!!
-

Can you describe to me what you see when you try to go to All Posts? Even better would be if you can take a screen shot. Upload that to your media library, and we can view it there.
I see you have your account set to show you the WP-Admin pages when available, so clicking on All Posts should take you to the WP-Admin posts page at https://new2view.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php. I can see all your posts listed there on my end.
-
the link you sent is exactly what i expected but is NOT what i get when selecting ‘all posts’ to do simple editing, and i do not know how to upload to ‘media library’!?
What happened to simple controls ‘if it isn’t broke.’.etc!! I’ve been using WordPress for a dozen years but now considering a divorce!

this is a link to what I get when I sign in to my dashboard and select posts, then all posts https://new2view.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php
-
Are you still not able to see all your posts using the link that @kokkieh provided?
You can upload a screenshot of what your seeing in your Media Library (https://new2view.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php) so we can have a look.
Here’s how to take a screenshot:
-
-
You mentioned that when you try to list all your posts, you see a page that doesn’t allow you to edit any of them.
The link you shared, you see, seems to be the same one that @kokkieh mentioned above.
When I go to this page on my end, I see the list of all your posts; I can open and edit any of them without issues.
If you could share a screenshot of what you see on your end or explain what exactly happens when you try to edit a post, it would help us understand what’s going on.If the page you see is blank, try clearing your browser’s cache. You can find here more information on how to clear the cache depending on your browser:
https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache.
