  I was updating plugins and now have an HTTP 500 error and can no longer access my site. I appreciate your help.

  Hi there, this is typically an error associated with sites using the open source WP software on 3rd party hosting rather than sites hosted here on WP com.

  Have you tried contacting your web hosting provider for assistance? If they say this is a WordPress problem, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
