HTTP 500 Error after YOAST SEO download

  I recently downloaded the Yoast SEO plugin and now I am unable to access my dashboard. Every time I try to login to edit my website, I get a screen with the message HTTP ERROR 500 and it advises me to return to the last page or try again later. PLEASE HELP!

  this problem occured immediately after I downloaded Yoast SEO 6.0, I was redirected to an http 500 error screen.

  @allykmyta thank you for your response!

  I was logged on to my other account to see if the problem was WordPress in general, but it only affected the junglelasers.com dashboard. I tried accessing it through a different computer and through different internet platforms (chrome and internet explorer). I read that it was a good idea to deactivate the plugin but i cannot even open up my dashboard to do so.

  consciouslyconvenient and cmura040118, based on the similarity between your messages, it looks like this has something to do with Yoast’s latest update You can reach out to the Yoast customer support here for help.

  I am @consciouslyconvenient. Sorry for the confusion. And I did check the “common wordpress errors” but in order to use any of those fixes, you need to have access to your dashboard. I can only log in. once i click anywhere I am immediately redirected to a http 500 error screen.
