HTTP Error 404.0 – Not Found

  So I just installed WordPress and when I tried to boot it up it gave me this message:

  TTP Error 404.0 – Not Found
  Module IIS Web Core
  Notification MapRequestHandler
  Handler PHP_via_FastCGI
  Error Code 0x80070002
  Requested URL http://localhost:80/wordpress/index.php
  Physical Path C:inetpubwwwrootwordpressindex.php
  Logon Method Anonymous
  Logon User Anonymous

  I tried running WordPress locally (as in making my computer my server) and it doesn’t seem to work, so could someone please help? I once tried installing WordPress a while ago (year) but the same thing happened.

  I am running Windows 7 64-bit with a more than powerful enough computer. I used this site: http://www.microsoft.com/web/downloads/platform.aspx to install all the behind the stuff things I needed, including the actual WordPress.
