HTTP ERROR 500
-
Hello,
I’ll try to explain this to the best of my ability and based on what I was told. Currently our site is experiencing a HTTP error 500. We cannot access the WP-admin due to this error. I am told that earlier someone was trying to resolve deprecated errors from showing up on the front page of our website and were messing with the WP-config file to disable debugging. They typed a line of code wrong or added a line of code in the wrong place and now the entire site is experiencing this error. We need some way to access the file so that we can revert the change that was made. I gather from what I’ve read that this could be done through FTP/filezilla. However, I am not sure we have credentials created for an FTP profile and our website is no longer hosted by dreamhost. it is just on wordpress. We are not sure how to troubleshoot this and would appreciate any input.

We can’t help as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform but is selfhosted – https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/cateredcreationsinc.com
