  Hi, I was updating the website on Monday but got locked out from the site. Had this issue a few times in the past but always regained access after leaving it alone for a while. It has since been 2 days and I am still unable to log into the account – says ‘iamgifted.com.sg is currently unable to handle this request.
  HTTP ERROR 500’

  How can I solve this?

  It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You may be able to find help here: https://wordpress.org/support/ or alternatively contact your hosting provider.
