HTTP error 500

  I entered to the server and tried to add a piece of code into wp-config.php. Before that, I copied all the code in wp-config.php for backup. After I added the code, the website and admin can not be entered and shows HTTP error 500. Then I pasted the original code back, it was still 500. What can I do? Seek help!
