  What is the error HTTP ERROR 500 and how do we fix it?

  Hi there!

  This error usually means there’s a plugin or theme conflict. You wouldn’t get that error on a free WordPress.com site so your site is probably using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so we can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
