Http Error 500
-
I recently used the plugin updraft to backup a WordPress site. After doing that I was updating plugins and about to update WordPress itself since nothing had been updated for a while. I reloaded it and the page gave me an http 500 error. When I search the site or use the admin link to the site I’m unable to access the site or the dashboard. I’ve been using WordPress hosted on WordPress.com so I don’t know how to access any of the files.

Hi there,
I do not see any sites under your @crphilbrick WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.
Is it possible you created your site under a different login with us or are using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?
Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

Hi Jerry,
Thanks for following up. It appears we were confused about who was hosting the site and were able to get it resolved by contacting them.
