HTTP Error
-
I continuously get the HTTP error when trying to upload an image to a website.
I have tried most of these solutions: https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/http-error-when-uploading-images-to-wordpress
but they don’t work. Would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help. I’ve been struggling with this problem for quite a while now.

Hi there, the solutions that you have will most likely be the best way to go.
The most important would be to check if every plugin and theme is updated to the latest version. And then deactivate all your plugins.See if you can upload a file while the plugins are deactivated if so you can activate one plugin at a time and repeat the process of uploading images until you find the plugin that causes the issue.
Please note. This forum is dedicated to WordPress.com hosted websites.
You are using the open source self-hosted version of WordPress, in the future, you need to post in the WordPress.org forum for assistance, you can follow this link to the forum: https://wordpress.org/support
If you would like to know the differences between the two versions, please read this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/Hope you get this sorted soon, best of luck 😎

Hi there,
Can you please confirm what site you’re trying to add images to? The site indicated in your post hasn’t been updated since 2013.
That error is usually caused by a browser or a connection issue. Try clearing your browser cache, and unplug your modem/router for a few seconds to reset it.
@zazter, http://rikashizzle.wordpress.com/ is a WordPress.com site, and there is nothing in the OP’s reply indicating that they’re actually speaking of a self-hosted site. Before making assumptions, rather first confirm which site someone is referring to.
