Http error on image upload and image is corrupted.
-
Unable to upload images correctly ie they upload abnormally, and always get the error message ‘http error on image upload’. Inside the media edit section, when I try to edit the image which is greyed out, I get the message ‘Image data does not exist. Please re-upload the image.’
Have uninstalled / installed WP many times.
Nothing works!

Hi there!
Is this for a wordpress.com site or a WordPress site hosted by another provider? What do you mean by uninstall and reinstall WP many times?
Kind regards,
Jason -
Hi Jason,
Thank you for responding. The site is privately hosted in Melbourne Australia. The content management I have installed is called Word Press.
I attempted to resolve the image issue by uninstalling it and then reinstalling it.
Do you have any insights / suggestions as to why uploaded images are corrupted?
Thanks

You’ll want to check out the forums over at wordpress.org. They should be able to help you better there. It’s a bit confusing, I know, but wordpress.com is different than wordpress.org. Since your site is self-hosted and not hosted by wordpress.com the setup is different.
Hope this helps!
Jason
