Based on your description so far, it sounds to me like the images themselves could be corrupted or they could be saved as a file type that is not allowed.
First, make sure the file you are trying to upload is one of the allowed file types and that the file extension has not been changed manually (i.e. the file was originally created as a .jpg and not something else and then renamed to .jpg).
http://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/If you are sure the file type is allowed, can you talk more about where the file is from and how it was created exactly? Also, generally how large is each file?

Pretty sure the images are not corrupted. I just took them on my phone and transferred them to my computer, no issues. They aren’t particularly large files they are all about 3.5 mb, and they are jpgs. So?

Pretty sure the images are not corrupted.
You never know. I mentioned it because I have seen that problem happen to users in the past.
The only other guess I have is if there is something on the network side such as a firewall or proxy or some other network rule that is preventing your computer from communicating with the WordPress.com image servers for some reason. If that’s the case, it’s a tough one to troubleshoot and not something I can test from my end because I am not on your network.
Here are a couple of ideas for testing that you could try to troubleshoot this problem:
1. Download a small, simple image such as one of the logos at https://wordpress.org/about/logos/ (make sure to get a PNG version) and try uploading that to your media library. Does the same error happen.
2. If you can, try uploading one of your images after you log in to your WordPress.com account from a completely different network location (i.e. from a friend’s house who does not have the same ISP as you, from public library, or from your laptop on a different network).
In my experience, the problem you described is usually either a problem with the image or something on the network blocking the upload. But I’ll also say that the error isn’t very descriptive (which kinda sucks!) and it can be difficult to troubleshoot this problem if it’s not the images themselves that are the trouble. Try the testing steps if possible and let me know if you’re still having trouble after that.

I just double checked your media library (I should have done that first), and I noticed there are images there that were uploaded on Nov 8 and Nov 9 after you made your first help request. Were you already able to get around the “http error” upload trouble you were having before?
