http error when uploading audio files

    Ever since I’ve updated wordpress to 4.9, I’ve been getting http errors each time I try and upload an audio .mp3 file. I’m not having issues with images or other file types. I’ve increased the max upload size to 250 mb using the Upload Max File Size plugin, the php.ini file has been increased as well, but I’m still having trouble getting audio uploaded. I’ve also tried to see if adding define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘1028M’); to the wp-config.php file and it’s not doing anything even with the plugin disabled and deleted. I’ve exhausted everything I normally would do to change the max upload size and don’t know what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there,

    We do not allow FTP access to any WordPress.com blogs. Since you are able to access the wp-config.php file and the php.ini file, you must be referring to a self-hosted WordPress site.
