HTTP Error when uploading images

When trying to upload an image to Media, I get an HTTP error. I’ve tried uploading several types of images (PNG, JPG), but nothing seems to be working.

Hi @nikolajsvv, usually that error indicates an internet connectivity issue or a browser problem, but we can double check.
Can you confirm this is with nikolajsveidis.wordpress.com ? And, are the images you’re uploading very large?
As one other test, could you try another browser to see if you have the same problem there?

I’ve been experiencing this issue for several days, so it cannot be a connectivity issue. The images I’m uploading are around 10MB.
This problem is occurring on a different site that I am working on.
Please let me know if you can help!

What is the address of that site? This forum can only assist with sites hosted here at WordPress.com such as the empty https://nikolajsveidis.wordpress.com/ If your other unnamed site is hosted elsewhere and using the WordPress.org software then you need to approach the correct support forum.

PS: 10MB is rather large for a single image on a website. Have you tried optimizing the images for the web before uploading them. -
