HTTP error while uploading pics

  Hi,

  I’m having trouble with uploading some photos from my desktop to WordPress. I’m aware of the entire process (add media – upload files- select) and had been doing the same for the past two years until a few weeks when I started getting an “HTTP error”.

  Because of this error I’m not being able to share photos. I’ve not even used half of the space.

  I would really appreciate some help regarding this.

  What happens when you try to upload?

  If you are not successful then please let us know:
  (a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.

  (c) Exactly what you experience including what any error reports you receive state. Note that you can use http://snag.gy/ to share screenshots and link to them here.

  Hi normashilpi,

  Sorry to hear you are having trouble upload image. I have taken a look at your media library and see you are uploading full size/large images to your site. One thing to try is to optimize your images prior to uploading them. Here is a guide on that:

  Optimize your images

  Other things to try would be to clear your browser’s cookies and cache, try another Internet connection or computer if possible.

  If you’re still having trouble if you could provide us with as much details as possible that would be great.
