HTTP media error / I have tried many troubleshooting steps already

    When uploading and image I get this message on the desktop:

    HTTP error.

    and this message on the application:

    1 file could not be uploaded because errors occurred while uploading.

    This has occurred on the photo uploader on my phone, my laptop and the WordPress application.

    I have sized the images down, checked for numbers. Uninstalled widgets, and changed themes.

    I’m not sure what else to do? I’m a new user, and this is really hard to figure out. Some forums have suggested inputing code, but I’m wary of messing with that, and I’m unsure of how to even access that area.

    If you could help me solve this I would be so grateful!
