HTTP redirects for individual pages
-
WordPress.com should support HTTP 301 redirects for individual pages. I moved my site from self-hosted WordPress.org, where I had lots of Apache redirects, to WordPress.com, and now I can’t use them. This is unfortunate, because some URLs that worked on self-hosted WordPress no longer work on WordPress.com. E.g., my RSS feed URL used to be http://stevereads.com/weblog/feed/ , and now it’s http://stevereads.com/feed/ ; I’d like to set up a redirect from the former to the latter. Indeed, I’d like to set up a redirect from http://stevereads.com/weblog/(.*) to http://stevereads.com/$1 , or something similar. This feature is easy to configure in Apache: https://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_alias.html#redirectmatch
A feature like this for WordPress.com would be immensely helpful.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
