You probably can’t. I tried the URL (you have a typo in it, BTW), and it just took me back to the main wordpress.com page.

That’s occuring because the blod admin has marked the blog as private. Staff won’t give out that information anyway as it’s a privacy issue.

This blog opposes privacy. How can i find the responsible person for that blogg?

Best bet would be to discuss it with staff via an email to support at this domain but they will not give out personal information.

I don’t understand what you mean by “this blog”. Are you referring to your own blog or to the blog that you are trying to access?

Presumably you are trying to access a private blog and if that’s the case it’s a “no go”. To be clear any blogger can choose to have a private blog and if so then no one can access it. WordPress will not violate their privacy and supply you with information of any kind about the blogger or the blog, if it’s “private”.

This blog was ‘open’ until today. Meny persons reacted for some information on that blog and now it’s “private”.

The fact remains that the blogger chose to make his or her blog “private” and that’s that. You will simply have to accept the fact that wordpress is not going to violate the “privacy” setting the blogger chose to have on their blog. Regardless of how many people are “reactive” the blogger made the choice and others will have to accept it.

If wordpress did not respect the choices bloggers make with regard to “privacy” I can guarantee that many bloggers, myself included, would be exporting their blog contents out and moving to another blog host.

It’s up to the blog owner. It’s their choice. We have no control over it.

If the blogger makes the blog ‘open’ again, can i know the identity of the blogger?
If i start a blog can i spread false information in any case? Who can stop a blog?
Strange anonymity. Where can i found the rules for wordpress.com?

  • Unknown's avatar

We will not divulge any details about a blogger.
That would break our Privacy Policy.

I have only one question. If the blob will be open again and continue to spread false information about me (or other person) what can i do?

If the blog is private, it doesn’t really matter what it’s saying about you, does it?

Also, if it was public until today and suddenly it’s been marked at private, google and Yahoo will most likely still have caches of it.

Like TT says, it’s a legal issue. Best bet would be to consult a lawyer. It’s between you and the blogger. You have legal options with the hoster, in this case wordpress.com, but nothing that comes into play until your discuss your options with an attorney and go in front of a judge.

And as an aside as being a hoster, every t better be crossed and I dotted when you do so.

Answer to raincoaster: If it remains private it doesn’t matter. The problem is when the blog is public and noone is responsible.

The process with lawyer takes time and cost a lot

    Thanks for answers

Never had a trademark or copyright to protect, have you?

That’s the price you pay for doing business.
