HTTPS admin login option is not available

  The WP on-line documentation for secure login to the administrator site is http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/.

  The problem is it says “To enable HTTPS you need to head on over to the Users –> Personal Settings screen.” but that does not exist on the admin site. I do have “Your Profile” page, but that does not show any HTTPS login option.

  So, WordPress team, please update the documentation.

  Anyone else, how can I set the WP admin page to require HTTPS login? My site is not on wordpress.com.

  In your particular case, HTTPS support requires your server is set correctly and a security certificate has been purchased and applied to your server. Once that is done, you can use a plugin like WordPress HTTPS to force HTTPS on admin pages.

  For more information about adding a HTTPS/SSL certificate to your server, I’d suggest contacting your webhost.
