How to take this old wordpress web site OFFLINE???? As I can no longer access it!
I no longer have the activation details, etc. so it’s a dead in the water… in limbo web site……forever with greatly outdated info on it for public view!!
(email visible only to moderators and staff) is still valid and used daily.

the whole issue may have started when WP no longer allowed free web site hosting and only blogs.. You now have to pay for web sites. So when this action happened => bingo…the old site became dead in the internet water…as it can no longer be freely maintained.

I don’t know where you got the idea WP no longer allows websites on the Free plan, but this is certainly untrue! -
